Fishers of Fisherman

This past Saturday as we went to Ekon village for evangelism, we were fishers of fisherman. In the Gospels, Jesus said, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of men." Well, we were fishing for men with the Gospel-- only these men were fisherman. Many of the men that live in Ekon village engage in fishing for a living. As they were mending their nets, we preached to them Jesus. In my mind I was thinking about how many times Jesus preached to fishermen mending their nets at the seaside. What a joy and privilege to share in this work of fishing for men. May the Lord give us some Peter's, James', and John's who left their fishing nets to take up the Gospel net!
